Japanese Komebukuro Bag Workshop-Half Day Class

£35.00

Enjoy working with Japanese textiles in our half day class, creating a traditional komebukuro bag. These bags were orginally used by Japanese people to carry rice to the temple or as a gift for a friend. They were often made with scraps and fastened with a drawstring. We will be working with traditional fabrics imported in from Japan to create the ideal gift for someone (or for yourself!).

The class starts at 12.30pm and finishes around 3pm. All materials are included in the class but we recommend you bring your sewing machine with you. We have spares we can lend out if need be.
