Join us to learn the art of Japanese sashiko hand embroidery and make new friends. Each month we explore a different sashiko pattern. Book your tickets with the drop down menu.
Our Sashiko and Pub sessions happen at the Marinero Lounge on St Peters Wharf in Ipswich and last two hours from 7-9pm. The design is a secret and will be announced on our instagram account on the day of the event. Included in the price of the session is a sashiko template, fabric and thread. We have needles to borrow or purchase. Drinks are not included but the pub has a great range to chose from. Pre booking essential. Open to anyone age 14 and over.

Would you like to learn or relearn the basics of sewing on a machine? Over three weeks you will be taught how to thread up a machine, and tackle projects like a pillow, tote bag and pencil case. Our small group classes are friendly and informal and you don’t need to own a machine to join us.
This class assumes you have very limited sewing experience so be prepared to start from scratch!
Classes run for three continuous weeks from 7-9pm one evening per week. The price includes all materials, tuition and the use of a sewing machine if needed. We do recommend you bring your own machine if you have one though.
Come and learn the beautiful art of Free Motion Embroidery Sewing to create your own personalised design!
During this Workshop you will learn to layer and create your design, learn various techniques and create a unique piece of artwork to brighten up your home.
You will be provided with a selection of fabrics to choose from to create your design. Sewing machines are provided but feel free to bring along your own.
The class starts at 9.30am and finishes around 2.30pm. Lunch isn’t included but you can either bring your own or we can signpost you to one of the many local cafes.
This class is suitable for someone with a bit of sewing machine experience but not much beyond a beginner.

A two-hour crochet session for those with a little crochet experience, creating a christmasthemed project.
This class is aimed at those with some experience. Yarn and hooks will be provided.
The class runs from 9-11am.
