In Time for Autumn… New Evening Classes!
Settle in and snuggle up with a new hobby this Autumn. We’ve got three new evening classes at Crafty Baba
Learn the basics of crochet in our two-week evening class. Starting with how to hold your hook , we will be teaching how to do a starter chain, single, double and treble stitches and a casting off method. We will progress onto a granny square and tackling your first project with a pattern. This class is designed to get you off to a flying start with crochet and develop a life long love of the craft.
Yarn and hooks are provided although you are welcome to bring your own.
Classes will be between 7-9pm for two consecutive weeks
Have you ever thought about making your own socks but not sure where to start? Well this class is where! Over three consecutive weeks we will be exploring how to cast on for socks, what kind of needles to use, how to turn the heel and finally, how to finish the toe.
The class starts at 7pm and finishes at 9pm. It will be at our shop at 32 St Peters St, IP1.
The class is suitable for anyone who can do a knit and purl stitch and can cast on and cast off. It’s not suitable for a complete beginner.
This class includes sock yarn. You just need to bring either double ended needles or a 25cm circular needle in size 2-3mm. These will be available to purchase in the first class if you’re unsure!
