Would you like to be able to create trousers that fit every time? Learn to take your own measurements and use them to make a template from which you can create any style of trouser pattern. Then adjust it to create a limitless range of your very own made to measure trousers.

Do you have much loved garments you would like to replicate? Bring them along to our half day class and learn how to draft a pattern from them. This class starts at 9.30am and finishes around 12pm. You will learn the techniques needed to create a new pattern from scratch to make a new garment from.

Have you ever wanted to learn to make your own clothes? This course will suit you perfectly. Over the day we will be exploring the fundamentals of dressmaking, reading a pattern, knowing which fabrics to select and what notions are perfect for the task. We will be practising how to insert a zip, finish a seam and putting in a bias binding finish. There will also be an opportunity to ask the questions you want the answers to.

Learn to sew a hooded sweatshirt in a day under the expert tuion of our teachers. You will be cutting a custom pattern for your sweatshirt and sewing it together in our small group class.

In our after school sewing club, we will be tackling a new project each week to encourage a love of the needle and thread. We will be covering sewing with felt, embroidery, machine sewing and much more.

If you are thinking about purchasing an overlocker (or serger as it is sometimes known), or have recently bought one, then this is the perfect course for you.

In this one-day course, we will be getting to grips with jersey and knit fabrics. Learn how to set up your machine and what types of needles are suitable for stretch fabrics. We will be cutting our jersey with confidence,  sewing seams and hems and setting in a neckline.

This class is ideal for those wishing to learn to make their own roman blinds.

This class is perfect for those wanting to explore quilting making.

Learn the basics of making a pattern in this one-day course held in Ipswich. You will be taught how to create a pattern from scratch, adding the appropriate markings to ensure success. We will also be turning our hands to grading (increasing/decreasing) a commercial pattern to be certain that everything you make in the future fits first time and finally, taking a pattern from an existing garment.

Learn to make lined curtains in this one day course. We will be making a professionally finished sample sized curtain (approx 100cm x 100cm).

Dive in to soft furnishings and learn the basics of sewing a piped cushion cover. By the end of the class you will have learned to insert a zip and piping, creating a fully functioning cushion cover.
