Crafty Baba

In this class, we start with learning to thread our sewing machines and how to control them. Once everyone is feeling more confident, we will cover basic tasks like sewing in a straight line, turning over a hem, sandwiching fabrics together, how to pin and cut your fabrics. We plan to tackle a simple project for you to take home, such as a cushion cover. By the end of the course, you should have mastered the basics of machine sewing.
Sewing for Beginners (Daytime)
The beginners sewing evening class is designed to give you the basics of sewing in a fun and friendly environment. Over the course of five weeks, we will be learning the basics of machine sewing and creating a project to develop our new skills. We will also cover basic sewing techniques like taking up a hem, interfacing, setting in zips and much more.
